Jones Works is proud to offer custom joint protectors handcrafted from genuine billiard balls by machinist and artist Larry Gates. Each set is individually machined by Larry, from the billiard balls to the joint hardware itself. Turning them into functional pieces of billiard art.
Choose from our premade sets available on the website, or have Larry create a completely custom set specifically for you.
Want something custom? Custom sets can be made from virtually any ball, with the joint configuration made to fit your cue. Depending on the design, Larry can also incorporate contrasting colors and specialty materials to create something that is truly one of a kind.

Custom orders typically require a 3–5 week lead time, depending on the complexity of the design and whether special materials need to be sourced.
